It feels a bit pretentious to say, but I'm just an artist.

While my current focus has been photography, I'm one of the unfortunate fools who is a jack of all trades but a master of none. I'm self-taught in painting, design and photography, and while I do sell my work, I am not a professional. But feel free to give me your money to change that! I love getting to know how things work, be it how to light a scene, how a certain painting technique is done or how something is printed; and thus my dabbling in everything. (And if you happen to have a letterpress and are willing to teach let me know... I would love to learn that next!)

Some people write these in the third person or have someone else give a bio; I just don't take myself quite that seriously. I'm only having fun with all this and seeing where it takes me. Art is merely a way to express emotion, capture a moment or even create one. If I can't have fun creating something there's no point in going through with it.
